About this app

Turn your Android device into a responsive soundboard and performance sampler. PadCue lets you record, import, shape and trigger your own audio without an account or forced cloud storage.

Build a kit for live shows, podcasts, theatre, classrooms, streaming, rehearsals or everyday fun. Choose how each pad behaves, keep editing locked during a performance and stop every active sound with one clear control.

CREATE YOUR OWN SOUNDBOARD

• Choose a grid from 4 to 32 pads
• Record with the microphone
• Import compatible audio files
• Capture permitted device audio on supported Android versions
• Resample a PadCue performance
• Create, duplicate, reorder, import and export kits

FLEXIBLE PLAYBACK

Assign a playback behavior to each pad or temporarily override the visible pads from the performance bar:

• One Shot Poly lets repeated taps overlap
• One Shot Toggle lets a second tap stop playback
• One Shot Restart starts the sound again from the beginning
• Gate plays only while you hold the pad
• Loop Hold loops while you keep pressing
• Loop Toggle starts and stops a loop with a tap

SHAPE YOUR AUDIO

Trim, normalize, reverse, fade, adjust gain, pitch or pan, apply filters and add creative effects before saving a pad.

PadCue’s core recording, editing, kit management and playback features work locally. No PadCue account is required. Your sounds, kits and preferences remain under your control, with no ads or forced cloud storage.

An optional Lifetime Supporter purchase is available for users who want to support continued development. It is a one time purchase, not a subscription, and core features are not locked behind it.
