About this app

QuietScan is a private PDF scanner designed for fast, simple document scanning without accounts, advertising or document cloud upload.

Scan receipts, letters, forms, notes and other paper documents, then save them as PDF files directly on your Android device.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

QuietScan does not require registration or a user account. Your scanned pages, document metadata and generated PDFs are stored locally inside the app.

QuietScan does not upload your documents to a QuietScan server.

SCAN AND CREATE PDF FILES

• Scan one or multiple document pages
• Create separate PDF projects
• Automatically open the scanner for empty PDFs
• Preview scanned pages
• Replace individual pages
• Delete unwanted pages
• Reorder pages using simple controls
• Generate and share PDF files

CONTROL PDF FILE SIZE

Choose the compression level that fits your needs:

• Native
• Low
• Medium
• High

QuietScan keeps the original page proportions instead of forcing every document into a fixed paper size.

LOCAL DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

Your PDF projects remain available in the app until you delete them.

Each project displays:

• Page previews
• Number of pages
• Last updated date
• Current PDF file size
• Selected compression level

LIGHT AND DARK MODE

QuietScan automatically follows your Android device’s light or dark appearance setting.
