About this app

Bible Dictionary Offline & King James Bible

In this app you find 3 most popular bible dictionaries

- Webster's 1828 Bible Dictionary:
The 1828 Webster's Dictionary of the English language is based upon God's written word. Noah Webster used the Bible as the foundation for his definitions.

- Easton's Bible Dictionary:
The Third Edition of The Illustrated Bible Dictionary by Matthew George Easton, M.A., D.D. (1823-1894), was published in 1897 (three years after Easton's death) by Thomas Nelson. It contains 4,000 entries relating to the Bible, from a 19th century Christian viewpoint.

- Smith's Bible Dictionary:
The original dictionary was published as a three volume set in 1863. The dictionary was named after its editor, William Smith. It was so popular that a condensed version was produced soon after.

Also I recommend you "Bible Concordance & Strongs" which you find in my app. You find there Bible Concordance, Strong's Concordance and Hebrew and Greek dictionaries.

You can add words to favorites, copy the text and any part of it, share via Facebook, SMS and etc, increase/decrease font size.

If you are annoyed about ads - try paid version "Bible Dictionary Pro" which you find in my apps.

You will love the Bible Dictionary app! The app uses the 1828 Webster's Dictionary and the Easton's Bible Dictionary along with the KJV, still one of the best literal translations of the Bible. The Bible Dictionary has share and copy options among other features, plus if the readers choose, they can listen to the audio as well as read the Word. Another great feature is you can tap on a verse and click the first audio button to listen to a verse repetively which makes memorization a cinch.

This is a very good KJV Bible app with read along indications, adjustable to your preferable speed, speech pitch, gender voice, and starting on whichever scripture you want. You can cause it to repeat any scripture as much as you want. You can also copy, share, mark, highlight, underline, and write notes on any scripture. Also it has a user friendly Bible names meanings dictionary. Yet I think it lacks just the cross-reference of the scriptures for it to be the best.
