WHAT THE APP DOES
Hidden Wire Detector reads the magnetic field around your phone in real time. When current flows through a wire, the field shifts: the radar lights up, jitter rises, and you get an “AC signature” status. A speaker, power-supply transformer, or magnet nearby shows up as a steady anomaly.

This is a contactless current and magnetic-field indicator. Voltage alone is invisible—a live wire with no load is almost silent. A charger that’s actually charging, a kettle, a lamp, a speaker, a microwave, or a transformer lights up immediately.

HOW TO SCAN
1. Open Scan and tap Calibrate away from electronics.
2. Hold the top edge of the phone almost against the cable or wall.
3. Sweep slowly. Jitter = alternating current. A steady jump = magnet, speaker, or metal.
4. Repeat from another angle—the field is directional.
Best targets: a charger under load, a speaker, a transformer, a microwave, or a single separated conductor.

SAFETY
Hidden Wire Detector is an indicator, not a certified voltage tester and not a substitute for a non-contact voltage pen or a multimeter. Do not open outlets, cut insulation, or trust the app around water or damaged wiring. Before any work on mains electricity, use a proper electrician’s tool.

Why a wall cable can stay “quiet”: live and neutral run together and cancel each other’s fields. The app tells you that up front—so you can trust it.
