On the train, in a cafe, at the office — ever wondered whether the person next to you can read your screen?

Privacy Filter Pro lays a semi-transparent pattern over your screen so the people around you can't read it at a glance. You can still tap straight through the filter, so your phone works exactly as before.

▼ Patterns and looks
• 24 patterns: florals, hearts, checks, diamonds, geometrics, plain colours and more
• Make a pattern of your own from any picture on your phone
• Fine-tune the strength anywhere from 0 to 100%
• Change the size (zoom) and the angle of the pattern
• Pick the colour: original pattern, single colour, or warm
• Choose the area: whole screen, top half, bottom half, a band, or a peek window — hide only what you want to hide
• Optionally hold the screen brightness at a set level while the filter is on
• Save a combination you like as a preset and bring it back with one tap

▼ Turns itself on and off
• Schedule: pick the days and times to switch on and off automatically
• Auto-off timer: switches off a set time after you turn it on
• Off when the screen goes off / on when the screen comes on
• Per-app on/off: on only while the apps you choose are open
• Tilt to hide: goes to full strength while you tilt the phone

▼ Four ways to toggle it fast
• Ongoing notification: tap to switch on/off, pause, or step the strength −/+
• Quick Settings tile: one tap from the notification panel
• Home screen widget: a single-cell widget that toggles the filter
• Floating button: drag it anywhere on screen; press and hold for peek mode

▼ Peek mode
When you need to read the screen yourself, the pattern fades while you hold the button and comes back the moment you let go — no need to switch the filter off and on again.

▼ Three steps to start
1. Open the app and allow "Display over other apps"
2. Tap the button in the middle to turn the filter on
3. Pick a pattern and a strength on the "Look" tab

▼ About permissions
• Display over other apps: required to show the filter
• Usage access: needed only if you use "Per-app on/off". App names never leave your device
• Notifications: used for the ongoing notification that switches the filter on and off
This app does not collect or send any personal information.

▼ Please note
• If you make it so strong that you can no longer read the screen, restart your device — the filter always starts in the off state
• This works differently from a physical privacy screen protector. Depending on the angle and the brightness, the screen may still be readable
