opendata.bot is an independent service. It is not a government service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Companies House, HM Land Registry or any other government body. What you read here is a copy of the public registers listed below, shown with the date it was read.

WHERE THE INFORMATION COMES FROM
Every figure in the app links back to the register it came from, and the app's "Where this comes from" screen lists all of them with the authority's own address:

WHAT THE APP DOES
Search any company registered with Companies House and see its status, officers, people with significant control, filing history and accounts figures on one page, alongside what the other registers say about it.

WATCH A COMPANY
When a director is appointed or resigns, accounts are filed, a charge is registered, the name changes or the company moves toward strike-off, the change arrives in your inbox. Group what you watch into your own lists, or save a company to keep it to hand.

FOLLOW A DIRECTOR
Open an officer to see where they sit now, what they have run before, and what the register recorded about those companies while they were on the board.

CHECK BEFORE YOU COMMIT
Is that VAT number real, and whose is it? Is a name on the UK, US or EU sanctions lists? Which companies does one person control? How was this care home rated?

opendata.bot is operated by NOETIKOS LTD (company 17154674), registered with the ICO (ZC229911). Public sector information is used under the Open Government Licence v3.0 and the licence each register publishes. The official record is always the authority's own.
