About this app

The Epistemic App is more than a digital epilepsy diary. It helps you track seizures, identify patterns and triggers, and generate Monthly PDF Reports – all in a simple and organized way.

šŸ”¹ Keep track of your seizure-free days with a counter always visible on the home screen.
šŸ“Š Generate monthly PDF reports with charts and a complete summary of any past month you choose, including the number of seizures, main symptoms, auras, medication adherence, and more.

Key Features:
āœ… Log seizures, auras, symptoms, injuries, and other important details—even offline.
āœ… Track your medications, receive reminders before taking them, and monitor adherence.
āœ… Track your menstrual cycle and how it affects your seizures.
āœ… See how your daily habits (sleep, diet, physical activity, bowel movements) impact your seizures.
āœ… Connect to your smartwatch or health app to automatically sync data.
āœ… Take notes on important details to remember or share with your doctor.
āœ… Privacy & security: Quick sign-up with phone number verification via SMS.

In addition, Epistemic App helps you track physical activity and fitness, manage nutrition and weight, monitor sleep, manage stress, relaxation, and mental sharpness, monitor diseases and medical conditions, support clinical decision-making, promote disease prevention and public health, access medical education and references, and manage medications and treatments — providing full support for your care journey.

There's nowhere to log your emergency meds that are taken post-episode, only the meds that you take every day at specific times, which is unfortunate as a 1-click post-episode add of meds would be helpful after such a drain on your body. Also wish that the app would allow you to record auras as well because these can be indicators as to when you are about to have a seizure and/or are mini seizures themselves. I feel that these 2 things would make the app more user-friendly. Message board idea šŸ‘

Hi, Jennise! Since our last version, we included this feature in the app. Now you can log the rescue medication taken! Thank you for your cooperation in making the Epistemic App a better tool! Sincerely, Epistemic TeamšŸ’œ
