The Science and Technology Week (SCT) is the institutional event of the University of the Extreme South of Santa Catarina (Unesc) in celebration of the National Science and Technology Week, promoted by the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications.

The XI SCT takes place from October 26 to 30, in virtual mode and has the theme "Artificial Intelligence: the New Frontier of Brazilian Science". The XI SCT aims to encourage the discussion of knowledge and experiences related to science, technology and innovation through artificial intelligence, its opportunities and its challenges.

During the XI SCT, the 20th Scientific Initiation Seminar, the 12th Extension Salon, the 10th Teaching Salon, the 6th Graduate Salon, the 7th Innovation Fair, the 7th Musical Talent, the 6th Science Fair, are held, the 5th UNESC Innovation Bootcamp, the 5th Archeology Workshop, the 3rd Cycle of Lectures by the Zoology Museum and the Entrepreneurial Journey. The event consists of lectures, workshops, short courses and presentations of research, extension and teaching reports.
