Buraco is Brazil's favorite member of the Canasta family, now on your phone in 3D portrait. Two decks with jokers, runs in one suit, clean and dirty canastas, the dead hand (morto) and going out: the traditional Brazilian rules, taught in a short tutorial.
Play 1 vs 1 or with a computer partner against two opponents. Rivals come in three levels: Easy sometimes forgets to meld; Medium picks up the pile when it pays off and never hands you a free card; Hard remembers what has been played and what everyone took from the pile. Nobody peeks at your hand or the stock.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• "Buraco Road Trip" campaign: 60 tables across 6 stops, from Aunt Cida's porch to the city tournament, with tougher rivals as you go, partner games from the third stop and a host waiting at the end of each stop.
• Stars on every table: win, then hit goals like a clean canasta, going out or winning by a wide margin.
• Quick game: 1 vs 1 or partners, a single hand or a game to 1500, three levels, with your record.
• Daily challenge: the same deal for everyone, one hand against the computer. Keep your streak and share your result without revealing the cards.
• Daily reward with a 7-day calendar, plus achievements to collect.
• Games save after every move: close the app and pick up later.
• Big, readable cards, an optional high-contrast deck (four-color suits) and faster opponents.
• Light, dark or automatic theme. English, Portuguese and Spanish.
HOW TO PLAY
• On your turn, draw from the stock or pick up the whole discard pile.
• Meld runs of 3+ cards in the same suit. 2s and jokers are wild (one per meld). Sets of a kind don't count in Buraco.
• Seven cards make a canasta: clean scores 200, dirty scores 100.
• Out of cards? Take the dead hand. To go out, your team needs the dead hand and one clean canasta.
• Classic scoring: melded cards, canastas and going out, minus the cards left in your hand.
NO SURPRISES
• Works offline, no sign-up, no login.
• Points come only from the rules of the game. Coins pay for hints and are earned by playing; there are no purchases.
• Ads never interrupt a hand: a small banner on menus only and, now and then, an ad between games (never in your first ones). Optional ads (coins or doubling a reward) only show if you choose them.
