EBD is great, but this is the worst food ordering app I've ever used. Please, please use a different system in the future. The app was very hard to use. I couldn't find the menu until I tried clicking the white box on the map, and I assembled a shopping cart. But, I put in my credit card info, clicked "save", and then there was no way to CHOOSE the credit card to use it. When clicking "place order" it kept saying pick a card. This app has one job -- take money -- and it completely failed!

I can't even order delivery from my favorite restaurant anymore. Outside the delivery zone now that they are off Doordash. Considering how lazy I am, this is a major detriment to my lifestyle ;). I now have to settle with something like McAllister's. Aside from that, I have some issues with the UX being a bit poor as you're adding in items to the cart, as well as increasing the # of items. Would also be nice to know BEFORE I spend 10 minutes setting up an order that I'm out of delivery range. My address was in once I gave location permissions. Perhaps a zone coverage map could be added as well, so we know where the delivery zones are. A google maps API key and some polygon draws would be a simple approach to it. The lists of available EBD locations are not sorted by distance. There's a few other minor issues that could be improved by increasing button sizes, and reworking the userflow a bit more. Some consideration to 508 practices, user experience, and some QA would be a good start (also there's still a test section and item listing). The rating is for the usability of the app + the fact that I can't order delivery anymore. If it were just for the app, I would give it two stars, as while it is still technically usable, it's just not a great experience for the user.

the app needs to be fixed. At the bottom of the checkout screen it says pay, then it just processes. It should show all options before the pay button. I just spent 40 minutes in curbside pickup when the app put in takeout. If it can remember my credit card without checking it should be able to remember that I always use curbside pickup.

Betsy,
We do apologize for the confusion. Currently, the app will default to pickup, as curbside is not available at all locations. When checking out be sure to set your pickup type before tapping the pay button. Email us if you have any further questions info@hazlnut.com.
