PlotFinder turns a plot number into a place on the map.
Type the number, see where it is, and get directions to it. PlotFinder covers plots across 26 towns and cities in Botswana - Gaborone, Francistown, Maun, Palapye, Molepolole, Mahalapye, Kanye, Serowe, Selibe Phikwe, Lobatse, Jwaneng, Kasane, Mochudi, Mogoditshane, Ramotswa, Tlokweng and more.
WHAT IT DOES
• Search by plot number and see every match, with its town and district beside it. The same number is used in more than one town, so PlotFinder shows you all of them rather than guessing which one you meant.
• Tap a result to drop a pin exactly where the plot is.
• Switch to satellite imagery, or open Street View at the pin, when you want to see what is actually there.
• Get driving directions from where you are standing to the plot, and hand the driving to Google Maps or Waze.
• Recent plots are kept, so going back to one takes a tap rather than another search.
WHO IT IS FOR
Anyone who has been handed a plot number and has to find the place: estate agents and their clients, conveyancers, contractors, delivery drivers, utility crews, and anyone who has bought land and would like to stand on it.
PLANS
Free - search the town you are in, and three sets of directions a day.
Basic - the same town, without the daily limit, and it follows you when you travel.
Standard - choose any five towns and search them from anywhere.
Premium - every city and town in Botswana, with nothing to choose.
Free is a real plan rather than a trial. It does not expire.
ABOUT THE DATA
The plot data is reference information about land parcels: enough to find a plot and go to it. It is a guide and not a survey. It will not tell you where a boundary runs, and it does not replace a title deed, a survey diagram or a licensed surveyor.
PRIVACY
No advertising, no analytics, no tracking of any kind - there are no third-party advertising or analytics libraries in this app at all. Location is read only while the app is open, and only to work out which town you are in; your coordinates are not stored. You can delete your account, and everything attached to it, from inside the app.
SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Google Play account settings after purchase, and deleting your PlotFinder account does not cancel it.
