GPXVault is a GPS track recorder and GPX file viewer for hiking, cycling, driving and boating - record your route, follow it on offline topographic maps, and keep every GPX file organized.

RECORD GPS TRACKS
• Start, pause, resume, and save live GPS recordings, with live distance, elevation, and speed on screen
• Recording continues in the background with a persistent notification showing elapsed time and distance
• Choose an activity type (driving, fitness, flight, or automatic) to tune GPS accuracy and battery use
• Continue recording onto a previously saved track instead of only starting fresh
• Automatic crash recovery; an interrupted recording can be resumed after a restart
• Drop waypoints during a recording, right from the notification or the map

CREW TRACKING (NEW)
• See your riding crew live on the map over LoRa radios - no cell signal needed
• Pair a Meshtastic radio over Bluetooth and join a crew by name or QR code
• Message one rider or the whole crew, and share a waypoint with everyone
• Emergency beacon alerts your entire crew when you need help
• Off by default; turn it on in Preferences

MANAGE GPX FILES
• Import and export standard .gpx files
• Organize tracks and waypoints into folders, right on your device

Whether you are recording a hike, logging a cycling route, tracking a drive, or opening a GPX file someone sent you, GPXVault works fully offline for local recording and file management - an account is only needed for cloud sync, Open Tracks, and sharing. No ads.

What’s new

Crews: emergency alerts reach you off the map and repeat until cleared. Fit Crew keeps your zoom, and riders the radio hears but who aren't sharing a position now show in the crew list. Engine temperature from your sensor radio, no crew needed.
Maps: Follow Me glides like iOS; BC land-access layers, saved in offline areas; arrows every 300 m; a compass you can switch off.
Uploads: a continued ride stays one track; failed uploads retry less often.
