Camera – allows the app to use your devices camera to take a picture of a cheque. Contacts – allows you to create new INTERAC® e-Transfer recipients by selecting from your device contacts.

Right now I really dislike this app. Does not remember my bank card number and the continue button becomes inactive when I push the "remember me" button. This same complaint was posted 9 months. Further to my review it seems that it is mandatory to create a nickname for your bank card. Other apps make it optional. Once you create a nickname, the continue button stays active and you are able to save your bank card number. 5 years later...App does not have an option to show your password.

It is always a 50/50 chance the APP will not respond and/or stop responding. This IS the only app I have that consistently has issues with any cellphone I have had. Currently I have S22 Ultra.

Latest update (June 3rd 2019) is broken. Can't open the app. Keeps saying Connection Lost. Totally unusable. Which for someone that does 99% of their banking through the app is completely unacceptable.
