Reported is an independent civic reporting app for documenting taxi, vehicle, and street-safety incidents in New York City.
Reported is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by NYC, NYC 311, the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission, NYPD, NYC DOT, DMV, or any government agency. Government and public-service information referenced in the app comes from public sources including NYC 311, NYC Open Data, NYC DOT, and NYC TLC websites.
Reported helps you prepare and organize reports about incidents such as blocked bike lanes, blocked crosswalks, reckless driving, red-light running, and illegal parking. You can add a photo or video, license plate, state, location, time, and notes so the incident is easier to review and track.
Report Creation:
If you encounter a vehicle blocking a bike lane or crosswalk, parked illegally, or being driven dangerously, you can capture or choose media and create a report in seconds. Reported helps organize the information you provide. Submissions and any follow-up actions depend on the relevant public reporting channels and agency processes.
Management:
The dashboard helps you view and manage reports you have created. You can track report details, status, media, and notes for your own records.
