This is the "Gifwijzer Plus" app that belongs to the renewed Gifwijzer booklet. To use this free app, you need the booklet. You can order the Gifwijzer booklet at https://www.gifwijzer.nl/.
There is also an app available that can be purchased without a booklet: the "Gifwijzer" app (without "Plus" in the name).

Poisoning? Know what to do and how to prevent it.
But where: in every household toxic substances can be found. And that is a serious danger, especially for young children. Even things that seem harmless can be very harmful. Detergent for example, but also paracetamol, toilet freshener or certain plants.

With the Poison Guide you can discover which toxic substances you have in your house. The app contains 149 substances and plants with an indication of toxicity and advice on what to do if something goes wrong. The Gifwijzer also gives advice on how to prevent accidents.
The app has been specially developed for parents with young children.
The content has been fully updated by SafetyNL, together with toxicologist Dr. E.J.M Pennings, The Dutch Red Cross and The Orange Cross.
