Masterkey is an easy to use password manager for the Android platform. Designed primarily as a simple password keeper, it can easily be used to house a variety of sensitive information and leverages encryption to ensure data security. It requires no permissions unless you decide to import or export passwords in CSV format.

Today, password managers are built into most operating systems and web browsers. If you're like me, sometimes you would prefer to store your passwords on your device and not in the cloud. That's why I developed Masterkey in the very early days of the Android OS. That's also why I keep maintaining it; because I use it. - Will

I have used this app for many years. Things changed with a rewrite of code for updated OS. Contacted support and Will was right on it. If you want to keep your passwords in one place, this is the app. It's simple and easy to use... 4 stars but should be 4.8... it would be a 5 but the necessary upgrade changed some values, overall still a good app. JerryW

App has improved significantly and doesn't steal data. I appreciate these old school Android apps that allow me to control my own data

Don't make the mistake of downloading one of those "free" apps only to have it to charge you $10 to use it. For the cost of a soft drink, this app is easy to use and just works. After trying the others, this will make you :jump:
