I use it to keep track of my game development projects, it helps me know how long I take for certain tasks so I can give better time estimates. The only thing I can't seem to find is an option to complete a project in the app. You can set it as not active, but having a record of completed tasks/projects would be really nice.
I work on many projects for many customers. I can get accurate reports of my time to an Excel form and bill my clients. And if I screw up it easy to go back and adjust the times as needed.
Awesome app, easy features yet rich. The best for keeping track of time spend on different things. Reports could enable the possibility to only report specific projects, or there could be more statistics, or some material design could be added but it's awesome. Great work !!
Thank you for this excellent program!-- This app is still going strong! Love it for quality and non-intrusiveness. I subscribed to the team feature but we can't view each other's data entries in the app. Is this a web feature only?
I looked at about 20 time tracking apps today and settled on Gleeo. The main selling point for me was the ability to organize my tracked time into a multi-level architecture (e.g. School->Statistics->Assignment 1) *and* to then view my time spent based on any level of this architecture (i.e. one can collapse the lowest-level headers if I want to see time spent for entire classes in my school domain instead of on individual assignments; one can then collapse further and see total time spent on the school domain vs. other domains). I couldn't find any other time trackers that offered this functionality in their reports of your time spent. A second nice plus for me was that you can specify any date range (not just the last week or month) over which to aggregate your tracked time when you want to view its distribution across categories. The design feels just a little bit busy to me, but it's still fairly simple and clean. What kept me from giving 5 stars was not having more ways to view statistics about your tracked time. I would like, e.g., to view the distribution of tracked time for a project across the day (% spent 7am-8am, 8am-9am, etc.). Will be using Gleeo, hoping for updates!
Its a decent time tracking /management app.It does have the capability to track two projects at once though does not allow more than one task within a project to be timed simultaneously (parallel ).This is a major drawback though it gets4 stars as it is of good quality and tast, ie no adds well designed ui. And i am not aware of any other apps on google play that have any parallel capabilities. an other major drawback is it can not track more than one man per task which is of course very impractical. Im sure some of these issues could be addressed by subscribing to the service they offer thouh i dont need a service to manage my projects. in that respect it feels like the app has been handycapped to mke you pay for a service that you dont need. An other problem is that you a required to download a separate paid app used for automation simply to have regular csv exports. I would gladly pay for a pro version of this app to have this ability though running an entire automation application full time on your device is not efficient and consumes resources. This app also doesnt support calendar export which is why it should have the csv backup feature enabled, but it only allows automated backing up the raw darabase which cant be used on other apps. Please make a standalone pro version for people who dont need a regular service and web access.
