About this app

iOf is the squad app for the Swiss Army. Officers and NCOs use the app to search for tactical abbreviations and terms, and there are modules for documents and regulations, military associations, appointments, news from the army and security policy and a further 30 modules from each basic military command area.

Important modules for the cadre:
• Abbreviations and terms: According to regulations 52.055 and 52.002 / II military documents
• Codes: International military codes, NATO abbreviations, flags and alphabet
• Documents: Current regulations and forms of the Swiss Army for direct download
• Management: planning and management, training of the HKA, documents and forms
• News: News from the army, security policy, industry and research
• Jobs: Job offers from military associations, administration, industry and clubs
• BODLUV: Information about Swiss air defense, regulations and tools for Flab officers
• Pz / Art: Information about the training association tanks and artillery, documentaries and tools
• VT: BEBECO petrol station directory, postponement planning with walking time calculator
• ABCDN: Risks, site dose, measured values, training documents, documents and checklists
• Addresses: All important addresses of the DDPS, the Swiss Army and the cantons
• Shops: Online shops for military supplies and blue light equipment suppliers
• CH Map: Map with Swiss coordinates, conversion and location and postcode search
• Mil Vb, schools and clubs: Information and dates from military associations, schools and military-related clubs
• Industry: Presentation of companies and service providers relevant to the army
• DDPS: Newsfeed from the Federal Department of Defense, Civil Protection and Sport
