1. Of course this is a toy drone with a low quality camera (slow response and low resolution). But it is a great way to start, first to master control of a drone without worrying too much about crashing etc (Has plastic protection around the propellers). But also to get some experience in shooting pictures and videos. 2. It was difficult to find the recorded material and like many others I thought initially it didnt record. Somehow the images and videos are not in your smartphone gallery but IN THE APP GALLERY. You just press the gallery/folder button on the 4DFLY APP (4th button from the top left of the 4DFly APP interface . You choose photos or videos thumbnail to get to the files. Then you need to transfer each file to your smartphone memory by pressing the icon on the right hand side of each image/video. The files you transferred will be placed in your smartphone gallery. A bit complicated but the important thing is to get an idea of the process, the images will not be of great quality. 3. Need to remember to be careful with the top buttons of controller. (Controller is small and it is easy to touch the speed change button or the 360 tumble button and lose control of the drone). 4. It goes without saying that you don't need a wifi source other than the drone. Switch the drone on, check the WiFi settings of your smartphone and select the drone wifi "4DRC ..." something. (Some phones may not work. Don't know which phones are compatible.) Overall a beautiful looking kit in a nice smooth case. Big minus is the operating manual that is missing most of the above details.

I know it's a toy and not a professional drone, but if they charge you for specific functions like recording videos and taking photos, you should comply, even if they are of low quality, don't sell just to sell, the flight is nice but it doesn't let you make recordings because it says that It does not have storage permission and there is nothing that can be done because it seems to be a software error.

Well not record video. App does not ask for permission to access files yet without file permissions It cannot record video from drone. So basically the drone is useless as a camera which is what it was advertised as. According to the details on the store, it will ask for permission to access file system but it never does and you can't override it via the settings/apps/4d fly menu.
