The AsistIAM app provides information related to the diagnosis and initial management of patients with suspected acute coronary syndromes (ACS). Its features include audiovisual material related to ACS diagnosis, electrocardiographic patterns, algorithms for determining the most appropriate reperfusion strategy (fibrinolysis vs. primary percutaneous coronary intervention), and georeferencing of nearby referral centers with catheterization services. The app also offers scientific content on fibrinolysis (medications, dosage, administration, and contraindications) and information on the management of complications such as bleeding or allergic reactions to fibrinolytics.
