I first gave this app 1 star!, but they addressed the issue I was having. They also emailed me right away to let me know it was fixed. I am only still giving it three stars, however, because it has a very limited amount of men in my age range. This is not the apps fault, I know, but it does very little yo serve my needs.
Hilariously bad. I tried to like one person and it said I was out of likes and needed to upgrade. Yeah, that's a solid way to compete with the biggest dating app in the world which is free. I always wonder who the morons are behind some of these things, it's like they just want a little bit of quick cash and don't actually want to succeed.
It looks awful, like an iOS app or something. Why did they remove the Android version for so long just to make an app that looks like it's for iPhone? What they hell were they doing with all that time? Clearly not making this a decent product.
I was so excited to see that Hinge had relaunched for Android. I think the app is user friendly and is pleasing to look at. As they build back their customer base, I understand the matches will be few. However, it's tiresome to open the app and see matches you have previously liked and/or said no to. I clicked no. I don't want to see that match again. Attempted to email support and was met with errors. Disappointing all around.
I was enjoying this app when I first downloaded it, but for the past few days it hasn't allowed me to like anyone new, which means I can't make the first move and have to wait for guys to make the first move. It is extremely frustraying, especially when every time I open the app it shows me someone I'd be interested in chatting with.
It's a little wonky, but I like it so far. It seems like a good medium between swipe-based dating and longer form traditional dating sites. I think once the bugs are worked out it'll be great.
This is the first Android version of Hinge since our relaunch as "The Relationship App" in Oct '16.
