With SONOFY you'll be able to:
- Intercom/PA to your Sonos speakers from anywhere in the world
- Have your phone's notifications broadcasted over your Sonos speakers

SONOFY allows for better in-home/office communication...no more yelling to call the kids down for dinner. Broadcast into their rooms or over the entire house.

You can now broadcast remotely as well. So if no one is picking up the phone at home you can send a message to the entire house from anywhere in the world. This remote broadcast feature is supported on Sonos One, Amp, Play:5 (gen 2), Beam, One SL, Move, as well as the SYMFONISK table lamp with WiFi and SYMFONISK WiFi bookshelf speakers.

SONOFY also works with your Sonos speakers to make sure you never miss what matters most to you...that urgent phone call from your child's daycare, the emergency text from your elderly parents, or simply your smart doorbell when you are expecting a guest. SONOFY broadcasts the notifications you choose to be notified about over your Sonos speakers.

Only works if you sign in. And then you have to pay. Thanks, wont buy... Edit: I didn't want to use any remote feature. Just wanted to try a live microphone usage on LAN. Even in that case, the app asks for a Google sign-in. I don't want such a basic app to reach my Google account. Besides it is really a very easy feature. I am just developing a simple one for my own use.

This is true, you need to sign in to use (Google single sign on so it's easy). Our app includes features that can communicate to your devices remotely (no other app can do this) and we have to authenticate with Sonos in order to do that. Your aunthentication is tied to your SONOFY account. And yes like everything else...there is a cost to use.

Love what we've seen so far and planning to buy. Price seems totally reasonable to us. Alexa allows broadcasting to Sonos now but only to newer speakers. This app works on the older speakers too (except the remote broadcasting). Any chance of an Alexa skill for Sonofy? Would love a hands-free experience. Star off for Google login. I read your reason why, but Sonos allows email account login so why not same email for Auth? Regardless, thanks for the great app!

Can be temperamental and not connect to WiFi: "sign in failed". No menu or settings place to try to fix this yourself other than uninstalling and reinstalling. Customer service is pretty reactive though although still not sure whether the issue will reappear which would be very annoying... When it works (that's most of the time) it does what is intended which is to broadcast messages through WiFi to the Sonos speakers. May be annoying for the recipients but this is part of the fun 😉
