Windy.app - wind, waves and weather forecast app for surfers, kitesurfers, windsurfers, sailors, fishermen and other wind sports.

As a pilot, this is an invaluable tool! And while no forecast is 100% perfect, the ability to compare different models against one another helps create confidence in the prediction so that you know what to expect, within a standard deviation. The UI and UX are great, which makes getting and digesting the data a pleasure, not a pain. Very happy with Windy overall and the team seems to push updates regularly to improve it!

great app for wind direction and speed. great lakes region. The free version of the app always functions well for me. I have no problems with ads, or loading. Easy to navigate the app as well. My favorite weather app, overall. Would love to see the discounted price come up again. I would definitely pay the lifetime sub fee, if it were available again.

I really haven't used this app enough to make a true 5 star review... but I just wanted to say that I really like the UI. It is very non intrusive while still having a ton of info. For example, the link that took me to make a review here was at the top of the home screen where I could click it if I wanted, not popping up and interrupting what I'm doing every 2 minutes. Nice job devs. I wish more apps were designed like this. If I remember I'll come back and make a better review later.

Log in on Android 14 has been fixed

The log in in Windy.app on all versions of Android OS works well now! Register at the top of the side menu (if you haven’t done so already) and you’ll be able to use your PRO status, settings, and list of favorite spots on up to 5 devices at a time with your login.
