Good on the cusp of being great. Wish there were more options such as turning off the background images or choosing your own, ability to clear stats, etc. The app should be able to work in the background (music), could use a face-lift as graphics looks "old". Boxing wise, I wish it included more advanced defense such as parries, shoulder blocking, and an option for footwork such as stepping back, circling out, pivoting, etc. Defense should have an option like choosing which punches you wanted.

Tried Precision Boxing but found it was having me go 8 rounds without throwing a single right hook and some of the punches simply weren't called out. Boxtastic is definitely the bug-free choice. As I type this at the end of a session I am gasping for air which is exactly what you want. The combos called are realistic so you don't feel like you're struggling to find the right position to throw the next punch, they flow quite nicely. Good app. Well done.

My aim was to try and have a free flowing, consistent app so good to hear your thoughts.
If you like MMA I've recently released Ultimate Fighter - feel free to email me about it if interested.

I like and use this app a lot. It's pretty easy to customize it to your level or what you want to do that day. Small thing but I really like there's no issue with playing Spotify and this at the same time so I can still have my music. The only thing for me was that it was a little difficult to understand the caller at first but I've mostly gotten used to him.

Hi Kathryn, thanks for the kind review. Hope my voice attempts at a Mickey-style coach (Rocky movies) are clearer after a few rounds :-)
