About this app

Different areas of the country use different fuel mixes to produce electricity. When you charge your EV, you are using the electricity that is produced in that area.
Chargemix tell you what that mix is, shows you how many pounds of CO2 you are producing when you charge your EV based on where you are, and recommends cleaner charging station options in a 40-mile radius if they exist.


Create your profile by inputting your EV model and other basic information.


When you open the app, it will show you where you are and the charging stations in your area. Each station has a rating based on the fuel mix behind it.

Check in when you get to the station and tell the app how much (%) you are recharging. Chargemix will compute the pounds of CO2 produced because of your charge. It will also show you how many pounds of CO2 would have been produced driving a regular gasoline car under the same circumstances. You will clearly see the positive impact you are making.

The app keeps statistics to show the overall picture of your EV charging choices.

The app also contains information about the various states in the USA and how they rate regarding clean electricity output. A green scale map will show you best to worse and show you the fuel mix in the area.EV charging the greenest way!
