Going into this game, I wasn't sure what to expect. But after playing it, I was pleasantly surprised to find an actually well thought out, micro - transaction free, story-driven mobile game. The graphics were stunning, the premise was unique, the story was well done, albeit unfinished. My only qualm was the length of the game. It didn't last as long as I would have liked. But perhaps that's something that might change in the future. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a positive and unique mobile experience.
Cajun here, host of The Indieview Podcast. Dan, I love the simple cohesion of the game. Two buttons for left, right, or stop; high contrast colors and basic lines and shapes (and emoticons lol) for the player and the system characters. I'm pretty early in the game still, just passed the first security point, but I love how the game makes me think of Tron, Portal, and a few others but it's still it's own identity. Maybe we could talk about having you on the show man? -Cajun
This game was most definately the best game ive ever played. I play hearthstone, clash royale, both amazing games. But they eventually get boaring. I like how this game has a distinct end. Its short which is great, (nothing worse than a story mode game that lasts 2 months) the story line is superbly good, and gameplay NEVER got even close to boaring. I enjoyed every single second of it. This game will always be close to my heart.
A must play! A simple game, but a great time waster. Being a tech geek myself, it sticks strongly to its theme. EDIT: I've finished this game, so I can now leave a complete review. The game is amazing! Near the middle it is a little bit repetitive, but a amazing view of what might be going on inside of a computer and a amazing side-story (The Life of the User). I'd write more, but I don't want to give any spoilers. A must for any simple gamer or fan of technology!
This is a fairly simple racing game, the controls are part of the challenge and although you get better it is pretty hard to master. I think one of the greatest things about the game is actually the story, which actually gets uncovered when you collect the user documents. *SPOILER ALERT* I think there should be 2 endings though, one where you let/help mother escape though i haven't tried not modifying the payload. This is especially true for me because i got a dilemma on who to trust in the middle of the game. Other than that i think this game is perfect
I have never written a review of a game before but this one was so amazing and beautifully created that I just had to. The best part for me was the story. Although the actual gameplay is so much fun on its own! The game assumes intelligence on the player's part to piece together parallel storylines, which is amazing. It was not just a game. It was an emotionally rich experience with compelling storytelling which also happens to be a pretty kickass game. I just had to finish it in one sitting. My only gripe with it is that it isn't longer. Hope there's a sequel to this. And if so, I can't wait!
I've finally squished the "no-touch-input" bug! OMG! :D
Also, DATA WING now supports devices with super-wide aspect ratios!
