We have developed patented and proven technology to use mobile devices to detect and measure ionizing radiation, especially X-rays, gamma rays, and beta particles. We believe that some mobile devices are sensitive enough to be used to detect high radon levels, but we don’t know how many or which models can be effectively used for this purpose! Please help us figure out whether your device can detect elevated levels of radon by downloading this GammaPix Radon Research app. We’ll take you through the steps required to set up radon detection on your device, and let you collect the data.
