About this app

The Transplant Procurement Management (TPM) Journey app is an Interactive and Immersive 360 Video Learning Experience developed for the DTI Foundation (in English, Spanish and Chinese) which aims to provide the user with:
● A first-person experience visiting a Spanish third-level hospital with active donation and transplantation programs.
● Clear understanding of the organisation of the Spanish model in donation and transplantation.
● Clear understanding of the role of the TPM and their interaction with other linked services and professionals.

The experience is addressed to:
● International healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses) who are involved in organ donation and transplantation activities.
● Emergency, Critical Care and Anaesthesia primarily, transplant coordinators, donor coordinators.
● Transplant clinicians and surgeons.
● Bioscience professionals and health care managers.

The user will be accompanied by the TPM coordinator and will meet different professionals from different departments while he/she will be able to ask questions about their job.
Using VR cardboard glasses, students will be immersed in a realistic learning experience where they will get to know a third level Spanish hospital’s cultural and organizational model. The experience serves as a wrap-up exercise for students enrolled in DTI courses like the Transplant Procurement Management, an educational program that since 1991 has trained over 12.000 participants from 100 countries. .
Once the experience is finished, they can run through it again changing their previous decisions and comparing the different consequences.
All people you see in the VRE have given their consent and all situations were set in scene. No real patients are shown in this VRE.
We wish you an enriching learning experience.
The DTI Foundation Team.
