About this app

Next to a fast and accurate method for detecting pneumonia in calves, qTUS is now also an easy-to-use app for registration and data analysis of respiratory disease at farm level.
How it works:
• Use the camera of your phone to easily scan the calf’s ear tag
• Quickly identify and register lung lesions indicating active pneumonia and clinical signs of respiratory disease using clear illustrations and sliding buttons
• Assign new or select preset treatments with antimicrobials and/or NSAID’s both on individual calf- and herd level
• When scanning is completed, at the glance of an eye, get an overview of all clinical and ultrasonographic diagnosis with their respective treatment
• Using filter functions, treatment groups can be easily selected and customized to the user’s wishes
• Save the report and all individual calf information to an easy to access file for each separate client to recall when desired

Why use it?
Over the last few years thoracic ultrasonography has proven again and again to be the most accurate way for detection of calf pneumonia. In order for the technique to be feasible in practice, not only the technique should be fast and accessible, but data registration must be optimized. The qTUS app allows for this and much more. Apart from quick data entry, the qTUS app allows for easy follow-up and therapy evaluation, allowing for a smooth and pleasant management of respiratory disease in your all your herds.
