AR Geo Pin: An app for both Creators and People who love Augmented Reality.

AR Geo Pin is an application that enables you to Geo Pin 3D models into the real world for others to find using its built in map and Augmented Reality.

If you prefer a more relaxed Augmented Reality experience rather than being out and about, the app has you covered. Every AR Geo Pin that is placed in the real world is featured on the main feed in the app which everyone can see. You can view pictures and videos of the ar geo pins, and also spawn the 3D Augmented Reality model at your location for you to view and enjoy.

AR Geo Pin currently has the following features:

1. Make 3D constructions out of blocks in the app.

2. Browse for free 3D models from Sketchfab in the app and import them.

3. Import 3D Models that you own or have created yourself.

4. Geo Pin your creations & 3D models in the real world for others to find, like and comment on.

5. Take pictures and make videos of your creations in Augmented Reality mode.

6. Share your creations for others to use, and in the case of your Geo Pin blocks creations; edit and expand on.

7. Browse a feed of all the Geo Pins in the world and spawn them directly at your location for you to view and enjoy.

Getting 3D models for your AR Geo Pin adventures.

You have a few options when it comes to getting 3D content for your AR Geo Pins. You Can:

1. Make models out of the 3D blocks with the built in Blocks Creator.
2. Browse Sketchfab’s huge library of free 3D models and download them.
3. Import your own 3D models from your personal Sketchfab account.

Once you have either created / downloaded / imported a 3D model and it is in your ‘my creations’ list, it becomes available to be Geo Pinned into the real world.

The main AR Geo Pin Feed Features.

Ar Geo Pin users have the ability to heart and comment on Geo Pins that appear in the main Feed.

If the Geo Pinner has made a video of the geo pin, it will be available to be viewed in the feed.

People browsing the feed will be able to spawn any 3D model in the Feed at their location to view in Augmented Reality, where they will be able to rotate and resize it to fit their environment. Spaceships and dinosaurs may be full size when pinned in the real world, but they can easily be resized to fit on a coffee table and rotated so they can be seen from every angle.

AR Geo Pin Accounts

To get the most out of AR Geo Pin, we recommend creating a free account. With an account you will get access to all the creative tools needed to get AR Geo Pinning and also the ability to browse the Sketchfab 3D library. Even if you have no interest in Geo Pinning 3D models into the real world, there are many hours of fun to be had looking through all the models that are available via Sketchfab.

A guest account is available those who are undecided on making a normal account, but it does have limited access, BUT it will still give users access to the main feed, the ability to spawn models in Augmented Reality mode from the main feed, as well as access to the map so they can find AR Geo Pins in the real world.
