When digital meets tabletop, it’s a scary good time. Produced by Micro Games of America™, Finders Creepers™ is the first game in its App-Vanced™ game line, where augmented reality and tabletop gaming meet. This companion app puts players in the role of paranormal hunters, who are tasked by their slightly maniacal “AI” assistant, Boogle™, to investigate haunted houses and rid them of the monsters hiding inside.

Boogle™ teaches players how to play and gives them the tools to find and catch the monsters hiding on the board. But when too many haunted objects invade the board, the monsters will escape and haunt your house. In this Grand Escape AR event, players will use Boogle™ to blast the monsters in the real world and bring them back to the haunted house board. Be the first to find the creepers in this next evolution of gaming.

Ratings and reviews

So far, we have not had any connection issues like others have stated. It always connects, and pretty quickly. If the host drops out and re-open the app, it alerts that there's a game in session and if we would like to rejoin. Three games at different times are now successful. We are all using android. I would give 5 stars, but I gave 4, cause you need a pretty high end phone or tablet for the app to work well. It uses a ton of RAM, and resources ( I think this is most people problems )

Great idea... once you actually get through the instructions on how to play. Setup and rules are confusing, so you have to be patient. Once we figured it out and got everyone connected, it was a blast! However, when we attempted to play the next day, it would not work. We tried all the 'fixes' we could find online and even downloaded it onto a new phone, but even that one stayed on the 'connecting' screen and wouldn't load the game. Disappointing to say the least! $30 wasted.

Seriously?! We had sooo much fun playing with the app at 10pm last night but now 10 am the next morning and no matter what we do, restart phone, uninstall and reinstall, wifi or not, we can't get past the connecting screen now. How do require an app for the full experience but not have an app that is reliable. For the money it cost to buy this game, this shouldn't be a problem. It was such a great game but not worth it if we go through the extensive process of set up to not be able to play!
