By scanning official cards from MGA’s Miniverse Make It Mini collectibles, you instantly unlock their matching recipes and ingredients and add them to your in-game Collection Tracker. This means more options during Design Challenges. The more codes you scan, the more themed and rare items you’ll have to boost your rankings in community events. Each scan enhances your design potential, adds depth to your inventory, and rewards real-world collectors with real in-game value. The idea behind the app and even the extras you can get from the balls you buy at the store is pretty cool. The issue, however, is that the app doesn't actually work. WAY too many bugs and glitches that I can't even play it. I was able to do a couple of things until I needed to do the voting in order to do more decorating scenes except the voting screen came up blank every time even if I tried reinstalling the app.

Horrible app. Slow, glitchy and almost entirely useless. Y'all need to hire some part-time Candy Crush or Netflix game app developers bc this ain't it. I'd be satisfied with a simple official checklist app that works with the cards and without. As is, even with the cards, whole recipes are missing even though the app says the card has already been scanned. I'd give this app zero stars if it were possible - I expected better from Miniverse. What a waste.

So I love miniverse itself, but the app is a total bust. I bought two minis at target brand new and got the cards with them, when putting them into the app both times it said that they weren't valid. I tried to contact the support email that the website provides only to be auto responded that the email mailbox is unmonitored. There's no other way to contact them I've seen. All in all, I would definitely not recommend.
