The app seems great and very user friendly but $50 is too much for a music app that only has like 50 something songs, especially if its only for a one year subscription. If it was a one time payment I would maybe consider it but a lot of campaigns can go for over a year which means I'd be paying for it multiple times which just doesnt seem reasonable. I want to use this for a sci fi campaign but most of those songs are locked behind the pay wall. Might try the free songs out sometime though.

Thanks so much for your feedback! We understand if this model isn't an ideal fit for how you play TTRPGs. We sincerely hope you continue to enjoy our free content! Just like our subscription, we are constantly adding new content for free, and we'll continue to keep PB ad-free for all users! Ping support@pocketbard.app if you have any questions!

Overall, the utility of the app is overshadowed by odd updates that delete all my content. If I don't check a day before a game, I often find that the app updated and wiped all my downloads. What's worse, is that with every update it tells me I don't have a subscription, which is confusing and annoying, until I remember to hit a restore purchases button. I got this app to simplify music and sound effects for my tabletop games but I find half the time I'm back to my music library.

Hey G, that sounds super frustrating and we really appreciate you taking the time to let us know about this experience. If you wouldn't mind reaching out to our support team, we'd love to catalogue the content deletion issue - that's definitely not expected behavior: support@pocketbard.app - thanks for helping us improve Pocket Bard!

awesome app! at first I didn't understand why some of the music files were so large. once I realized the depth and variables you can add I was convinced. being able to adjust the intensity of exploration, combat or victory music adds so much to my D&D games. as you increase the "intensity" of a song it tends to add more prominent instruments such as violins or horns and really makes the moment feel larger or more serious without just turning your phone's volume up like I used to before. 10/10!
