A great way to read up and coming authors, especially in the nascent LitRPG genre, as well as isekai (from another world) and more conventional fiction genres like fantasy and sci-fi. But because it's an open platform, there's a huge range of skill (and editorial prowess), so be sure to pay attention to the reviews for each story. Added bonuses: filter out gen AI slop, "to read" list, curated suggestions based on your reading history… It's a great app for any reader!

Not only is this a terrific platform in general, but I could not be more pleased with how well and how promptly the team works to fix issues. Ads are as unintrusive as possible, premium membership is truly optional, with astoundingly little locked behind a paywall, and an all around excellent experience to use, I can say as both a reader and a writer.

Lots of serial fiction to enjoy with filters that help hone in on what I enjoy. The read aloud feature (I'm paying for premium) is slightly unintuitive. And having to use the fast-forward button sentence by sentence to go to the correct spot rather than being able to "start reading from here" is inconvenient. However, the voices, price, and configurability are better than Amazon's deliberately crippled option, which costs 4 times as much.
