Had this app on my iPhone, worked great, I could search for any event, including comets, and the app would help me locate it. I switched to an Android phone, happy that I could get the app on it, but it's functions are lacking. There is no search function, only preloaded objects. So, that comet coming through tonight? No clue where it's at and the app won't show me, even when I tap the notification for the comet, I get shot into the app in whatever location I happen to be. For some reason, an arrow kept pointing me to Taurus... Maybe that's the general location of the comet? Not at all clear.

Great app for star gazing! (the following is after a few months) Notifications on my phone are great and all, but the app/phone cuts off the messages and I can't find a way to read it once I "click" on the message. Clicking sends me straight to the app and star charts with no further info and deletes the message. Kind of dissapointing in that respect.

Super smooth U.I, 60 FPS is a big plus! But more importantly, it's accurate, at least while on a Wi-Fi network and location/GPS enabled. After using the app for around ten minutes, I decided to go ahead and buy the full version. The sheer selection of search options is fantastic. You wouldn't normally have all these objects being displayed on any other app. Well worth the $3!
