Drag your finger across the screen, watch the blade pulse, watch the
carnage. You don't tap. You don't aim. The hero hasn't got the energy.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX
• A sword you can merge into a bigger sword. Then a bigger one. Then a
really upsetting one.
• Talents picked at random on every level-up, because that's the whole
genre.
• Relics with extremely unserious names — Blade Vortex, Mana Overload,
Midas Touch, Frost Nova.
• Three biomes, all somehow infested with rats.
• Six bosses, including a Skeleton King who keeps summoning more
skeletons. We've talked to him. He won't stop.
THE CORE LOOP
1. Drag.
2. Smash.
3. Die.
4. Open the game again because the loot bar was so close.
ALSO
Portrait. One finger. No login. No timers. No "energy" bar telling you
to come back tomorrow. The only thing stopping the next run is whether
your battery survived the last one.
