About this game

Ever wondered what would happen if Jupiter slammed into the Sun?
Or what our galaxy will look like when it crashes into Andromeda?
Milky Way is the cosmic sandbox where you stop wondering and start
playing. Smash planets, merge galaxies, build solar systems, and
pick up real science along the way.

If you like Solar Smash, Universe Sandbox, Spaceflight Simulator,
or Solar System Sim, this is your next favorite app.

No lectures. No textbooks. Just gravity, collisions, and "what if?"
experiments you run with your fingers.

GRAVITY SANDBOX
Drop in planets, stars, and black holes. Real Newton's-law gravity
takes over. Build stable orbits, send moons flying, or kick off
total chaos. Every planet in the Solar System is here — Earth, Mars,
Jupiter, Saturn, even Pluto.

GALAXY MERGER
Crash the Milky Way into Andromeda. Watch supermassive black holes
fling stars across space. This is the same kind of simulation
astronomers use to model what will actually happen to our galaxy
in 4 billion years.

PROTOPLANETS (3D)
See how planets are born. Run a protoplanetary disk simulation and
watch dust clumps grow into rocky worlds and gas giants — millions
of years compressed into seconds.

SPH SIMULATION (PREVIEW)
Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics, the technique real astrophysicists
use. Try the Three-Body Problem. Trigger Tidal Disruption when a
star wanders too close to a black hole. Watch math turn into a
fireworks show.

PLANET RIVALS
A fast game mode where you compete with other planets to grow into
the biggest world in the Solar System.

STELLAR COLLISIONS
Smash stars together. Trigger a supernova. Form a neutron star or
a black hole. All the violent cosmic events you'll never see with
a telescope, now in your hands.

MECHAZILLA CATCH
A SpaceX-inspired mini-game. Fire the Raptor engines on the Super
Heavy booster and help Mechazilla make the chopstick catch.

SOLAR SYSTEM COMPARISON
Put Earth next to Jupiter. Compare the Sun to Betelgeuse. Get a real
feel for how big the universe actually is.

WHY PEOPLE LOVE IT
- Real physics that doesn't feel like homework
- Real astronomy: galaxy formation, planet formation, stellar
evolution, black holes, and more
- Endless replay — every simulation runs differently
- Loved by space fans, students, teachers, and curious kids 9 and up

Rated 4.8 stars by 1,300+ space fans.

love this app. the galaxy merger is my favorite. the original is better but the new one is still super cool!! I just like the freedom of the original merger better. although some of the simulators seem to not really work at all for me. also you guys should put in a play/pause button in the original merger and It just kind of sucks that the stars disappear after so long. still love it!!!

it could have been fun if not the 2 following things 1. lag 2. the fact that you have limited amount of free games for a day, which is very awful. I know why, but it literally makes the game unplayable, unenjoyable and it's unnecessary. why couldn't you find a better way to earn money from the game??? surely there is one...

used to enjoy the game but now after update I can't use most of the simulations and it wants a monthly or yearly subscription paid to use them. I can't afford this. I originally paid for removal of ads before the update and other simulations being added. I read online the developer announced that the entire game was now free and he subscription was removed but I'm still blocked from most of the game
