Prepare your decks and go on a pilgrimage through the wasteland! Nowhere Prophet is a unique single-player card game. Travel across randomly generated maps and lead your followers in deep tactical combat. Discover new cards and build your deck as you explore this strange, broken world.

Take on the role of a powerful leader and mystic. Empowered with the gifts of technopathy, the ability to sense and affect electrical currents. You are the last hope to a band of outcastes and refugees. Lead them across the randomly generated wastelands. Pick fights with greedy slavers and crazy machines using the turn-based card combat. Can you survive long enough to reach the mysterious Crypt?

Ratings and reviews

Some buttons are too small like the menu button in the top right, back button in the top left. It seems like the text descriptions of events get cut off and you can't scroll to read all of the text. Also when purchasing new followers the tooltip box will expand to be completely off of the left side of the screen so you can only see half of the tooltip. Hope you remembered all those keywords if you can't read what they do there. Good game despite these issues, this can all be fixed up.

It is rare to get games on mobile with this much depth and complexity that haven't been compromised in some awful way, but Nowhere Prophet is as deep and satisfying roguelike deckbuilder/tactics game as you can find on any platform. It's hard as nails and has stylish visuals, a meditative score, and tantalizing worldbuilding. And the full game is available as a single purchase. I played a good hundred hours of Nowhere Prophet on Steam and now I'll probably play a hundred more on my phone.

I want to like it but the deck is stacked against you. its annoying watching your opponent whip out 7 cards at a cost of zero energy and I don't want to pay to see another group function equally as annoying, especially when your opponent can just whip out 7 straight snipers at zero cost who can all do boosted damage straight to your leader, game over for you every time if the game chooses it.
