About the game:

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a 2023 action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. A sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017), Tears of the Kingdom retains many aspects of its predecessor, including the open world environment of Hyrule, which has been expanded to allow for more vertical exploration. Link, the protagonist of Tears of the Kingdom, is joined by Zelda and is opposed by a malevolent force that seeks to destroy Hyrule.

Tears of the Kingdom was conceived after ideas for Breath of the Wild downloadable content (DLC) had exceeded its scope. Its development was led by Nintendo's Entertainment Planning & Development (EPD) division, with Breath of the Wild director Hidemaro Fujibayashi and producer Eiji Aonuma reprising their roles. A teaser was shown at E3 2019 with a full reveal at E3 2021. Tears of the Kingdom was initially planned for release in 2022 before being delayed to May 2023. It received acclaim, with praise for its expanded open world and features encouraging exploration and experimentation.

Tears Companion is a third party App. The developer of this software is not affiliated with Nintendo Co. Ltd. in any way. However, the creation and maintenance is permitted until withdrawal from Nintendo.

Love the app, I used the one for BotW and it was great. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to be optimized. With each update adding more items and content, it seems to be getting slower and slower. Taking about 15 seconds to switch between sky, surface, and depths layers. Early on, it didn't do that. Also, when I check off a shrine, it takes a good 3-5 seconds to register that it has been checked. Would be 5 stars if it ran smoothly.

not bad so far. runs fine. UI/UX needs a bit more polish and organization. things behind too many layers of menu's needs to move up a bit. Also missing a lot of missions and stuff for the checklist section which is the main reason I'm using the app. More than half of the missions I've finished are not on here. Though all will be added in time based on how well they did with the last game.

Great app but has a few issues. The app keeps restarting while I'm using it but it does save so it's just annoying. The settings seem to not take effect. The only thing I'd add would be to add a description on what to do to get some of the things on the map when clicking on them 9r maybe describe or show a picture of it in game but I don't know if that's doable
