Really bare bones controls. You can set hourly limits on a console, and you can set an alarm for bedtime, and you can see a general idea of how much of each game was played each day, but that's it. It's unclear how well these settings work. For example, I set bedtime at 8pm, but when I look at the time played, it has red text saying the game was played past the set time. It doesn't say when the hours happened, so I can't know if she went over by five seconds or somehow kept playing for an hour.

Effective at what it is capable of, but really needs 2 enhancements: 1) Allow for zero time. At the moment you have to allow a minimum of 15 mins, and zero = unlimited. There are times when zero allowance is needed. 2) Per profile controls, with a requirement to "sign in" to the device rather than just per game/app launch 3) Would also be good to enforce breaks of a certain length after each period of time used

this app is good for setting up certain restrictions for kids or even for yourself if you're one to play for too long. but it would be better if the restrictions were profile based instead of device based. We share our Switch and Switch 2. Of course, its not difficult to put in the PIN when I want to play a game thats restricted on the console.
