Ratings and reviews

Very customizable in comparison to the site, but the overall experience is meh in comparison. You can't really duplicate the site experience in-app, the volume of the rain doesn't go high enough. I will say eliminating the birds is a bonus. The other scenes have poor isolation between some of their tracks, e.g. Cafe you can still hear clipped talking on at least one track with the voices turned all the way down.

I like the different rainy scenes, however, it feels as though it's lacking a number of features for a paid app. For one, there is no way to save mixes of sounds as a preset. Consequently, when opening the app you have to tune the volume of each sound over again. If I were studying, it would be nice I could simply tap a saved profile named "study" and get right back into where I had it. Also, maybe a custom option where you could mix the various scene sounds together.

Fantastic app. I added a Bluetooth receiver to my home stereo system just to be able to use this for napping on the couch! It's great to be able to individually adjust the volume of the rain, thunder, and ambient sounds such as birds. It's also nice to have a variety of choices for the locale (ocean, cafe, etc.). The sound is excellent quality in every way, and I've never been able to notice loop splicing. Highly recommended!
