What are binaural beats? How does this affect me?
Binaural beats are auditory processing artifacts caused by specific physical stimuli. This effect was discovered in 1839 by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove and earned greater public awareness in the late 20th century based on claims coming from the alternative medicine community that binaural beats could help induce relaxation, meditation, creativity, focus and other desirable mental states. The effect on the brainwaves depends on the difference in frequencies of each note.

I really miss the old offline music. The music was perfect for studying. This new music is nice and all, but it isn't as useful or effective for studying and focusing and such like the previous songs. I'm all for adding new music, but not at the expense of losing the old stuff that worked. Pretty disappointed.. Edit: Yay!!! I've missed the original music! I rely on it a lot for studying. Thank you!

OLD SONGS ARE BACK! Please update the app to the latest version (13.6). Due to popular demand, the old songs from previous version are back! We have custom designed binaural beats for every cognitive function. Please use both of your headphones for binaural beats to take effect while listening to this category.

Used to be great, now it defeats its own purpose. The new music is distracting. Doesn't naturally loop, so it's choppy at best. You can't listen to the nature sounds without the music playing. That had been the best feature. I recommended this to all my friends. It's not the quality product I had recommended. Can't wait for the original music to come back and I hope they bring back the features that make the app worth the space. Until then, this is unusable. The new Meditate keeps buffering...

This app is useful on some occasions, other times it is not. Some study music I played actually helped me focus, while some music (e.g. "reading" category music) didn't help me read and study, but distracted me and made it harder to focus (although it does help me fall asleep sometimes). Also, I found some of the pictures they showed with the music somewhat creepy; particularly the pictures of brains and heads with glowing/no eyes in weird backgrounds. I might try to find another music app.
