Perfect for beginners. I learned mahjong fast because of clear tutorials, practice games against computer opponents, and game playback. Aesthetic gameplay and characters! Smooth, fast-paced, and addictive rounds. Since only been playing for almost a week, I have recommended it to several people who all enjoy it. Although I have no real complaints, it's been hard to acquire rewards in-game as a gamer who wants to never purchase in-game money. Other than that, it’s the best mahjong game!

great game to play.. for free. this game is exorbitantly expensive to try to get any of the avatars, items, emotes ect. we spent a fair bit of money each to try out the loot boxes and got all common items and a tablecloth. it seems to be the experience most people have on this game. you'd have to spend $400+ just to get a character with the tokens. big money grab there, so save your money and don't make the mistake with the loot boxes that we did. however the game can still be played entirely.

Surprisingly great production value (music, voice acting, art). This game is a solid introduction to Riichi or Japanese mahjong. Helpful tutorial and alerts/guides when you actually play, and you can play online against random people or against friends. There are no obtrusive, unavoidable ads, and you can enjoy the core gameplay without having to pay a dime (you can pay for fun cosmetics if you wish, but that doesn't affect gameplay). Would recommend!
