I love this game and I play it constantly, just as I have for the last two years. It's a ton of fun, but I had to change my review. Since they added the Private Quarters game mode, the game has lost a lot of it's core stability, immediately working more poorly than before the feature. It freezes frequently, it gets stuck on loading all the time, and even with a good connection, the UI is frequently unresponsive. Really disappointed with the game's functionality over the last couple months.

Listen. I've played for years, and have spent an ungodly amount on this. By far, the best gooner game. And an interesting enough game loop to keep you engaged. BIGGEST ISSUE: Quality of life. Why, why do I have to grind combat. Please, please, please, add auto-resolve and auto-clear. If my fleets can win without question. I should not, in any scenario, need to grind each combat scenario of an event. Or a refreshed Operation Siren.

The art is great, the skins are great, the gameplay is what uou'd expect from an almost ten year old gacha. Sadly, ever since the Island Planner update, the game runs worse. Upon opening, it gets stuck on "Checking for updates" and it sometimes fails to download actual data. After restarting the app a few times, when I get in, it lags when I touch something such as the mail, dorm room, or commissions. The lag wears off after a while, but I dread having to go through the same issues day after day
