About this app

1.The App is for service pensioners and family pensioners.

2.The App works using Aadhaar based face, finger print or iris Authentication

A) Using app with Face Authentication (available in India only)

i) no external Biometric device is required, only AadhaarFaceRD service is
required.

ii) one can download AadhaarFaceRD from Google Play Store; search for
AadhaarFaceRd in Google Play Store ( Please note AadhaarFaceRD
service is available and works only in India )

B) Using app with Finger Print/Iris device

i) A registered biometric device is required either a finger print scanner or
iris scanner

ii) RD Service of the respective biometric device is required and can be
downloaded from Google Play Store

3. On successful submission of JeevanPramaan i.e Digital Life Certificate (DLC) a unique Pramaan-Id is generated and confirmatory SMS sent. Pramaan-id may be used for future reference and requirement if any.

4. Digital Life Certificate is automatically accessed by the Pension Disbursing Office for processing and hence it is not required to submit hard copy of DLC to the Pension Disbursing Office

5. Only those pensioners whose Pension Sanctioning Authority is onboarded onto JeevanPramaan can avail this facility. For list of Onboarded Pension Sanctioning Authorities please visit https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in

"Another Monumental Governmental IT Disaster" keeps on saying improve lighting, tried additional lights, tried out in bright sunlights, same error , which is actually just an excuse or another way of saying either server is busy or the app cannot work right now. Don't know what more I can do? might have to bring the SUN inside the room. Shows the same error message even when it completes the scan and submits it. Sometimes works in 1st attempt but at other times took more than 10 attempts.

It worked so well last year, but this year it just refused to work. Keeps showing error message 737, Capture failed, please improve lighting. Since I am on oxygen support, I can't go anywhere else, and it refused to work in my bedroom. Even when I stand in the sunlight in the balcony, it keeps telling me to increase the lighting. 🙄

Why is this application and facility even provided in the name of “everything going online” when it hardly works properly? I’ve tried multiple times — sometimes it shows random errors, sometimes it doesn’t load at all, and sometimes the OTP never arrives. Even after several attempts, the process doesn’t complete successfully. If users are still forced to visit the bank physically for verification or basic services, then what’s the real purpose of having this online application? It only wastes ti
