Aahar IQ helps you understand what is inside packaged food before you buy it.

Point your camera at any food label. The app reads every ingredient and explains it in plain language — what each additive is, how much sodium and sugar the product contains, and which ingredients may not match your dietary needs.


HOW IT WORKS

2. Point your camera at the ingredient list on the package
3. Read a clear breakdown of what is inside


WHAT THE APP CHECKS

The scanner identifies and explains:

- Preservatives such as Sodium Benzoate, BHA, BHT and TBHQ
- Artificial colours including Tartrazine and Sunset Yellow
- Added sugars and sugar substitutes
- Sodium content per serving and per 100 grams
- Trans fats and saturated fats
- Common allergens such as gluten, dairy, soy and nuts
- More than 200 E-number additives referenced against FSSAI and WHO ingredient databases


PERSONAL DIETARY PROFILE

You can set a personal profile that includes conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid, PCOD, cholesterol, lactose intolerance, gluten sensitivity, pregnancy and others. The app then highlights ingredients that may be relevant to your profile so you can make informed choices. Aahar IQ does not replace medical advice — always consult your doctor for dietary decisions.

SUPPORTED INDIAN BRANDS

The scanner works on packaged food sold across India, including biscuits, namkeen, bhujiya, chips, instant noodles, cold drinks, sauces, breakfast cereals, dairy products and baby food.

Aahar IQ is available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi and Gujarati.

PRIVACY
