Accurate for loadshedding. Ads are NOISY and intrusive. When you open a tweet notification and then click back it closes the app (and plays a noisy ad) instead of showing you the loadshedding times page. Even if I paid for it, I would still want to go from a notification to the tweets to the schedule, not out of the app once I press back from the tweets. I don't buy apps where coders deliberately try to annoy me with noisy ads. Entice me don't annoy me. ***UPDATE*** The ads are silent now! 🙏🏼

The noisy ads are an issue on Google's side. We have removed them earlier today as we have not yet received feedback from Google on this issue. There was no deliberate intention on our side to annoy users. Thank you for pointing out the issue relating to opening the app from a Tweet notification. We will look into that as well.

Works fairly well once it's set up properly, but a recent update asked me for a rating and then kept prompting and not closing the app each time I tried to exit. The app is a bit liberal with notifications. On initial setup I keep thinking I've disabled tweet notifications, and then they're still somehow on. It would also be nice if the app supported a themed Material You icon, as supported on modern Android versions.

I first used the other, most popular app dealing with loadshedding. But somehow they gotten greedy and started pestering one with ads. So I switched over to LSN, and it's surprisingly good. Better than 'that' one now. Plus, it takes up less space on my phone's storage, and extremely light on data usage too. The push notifications from the app saved me several times from losing data on my computer. Despite Eskom jumping up and down through stages, this app makes dealing with that easy.
