EASY SETUP

Ratings and reviews

Works well with a single account -- although I'm sad to see they're now gating features that were once free behind a paid plan. But trying to manage multiple properties with multiple accounts is a mess. Account switching simply doesn't work reliably. Makes it really hard to manage devices or arm and disarm the right account. You're never sure which account is actually being used. Hopefully it's a simple bug they can get fixed soon

latest update causes app to force close as soon as its opened, at least on my device. Completely unusable. UPDATE: 02/08 and still cant use the app. Force closes immediately. UPDATE: 02/22 not reaching out to support. Cleared cached, storage, uninstall and reinstall, phone restart, multiple devices... The app just flashes when opening. Only way to use my abode system is through a third party open source home automation integration. Switching to something else as soon as possible.

Had Abode for ~8 years. Ability to troubleshoot which phones are connected to the system/inside or outside of geofence restricted to ONE acct owner - suggest they allow TWO acct owners. Not integrating with many Z-Wave devices. No call when the alarm is activated unless purchase subscription and the app alert when away from home is unreliable. Abode security is good inside the home, but Abode is losing its appeal away from home and as a home automation hub. It might be time for us to replace it.
