Would it be possible to extend this functionality for sharing? I.e., right now when I'm in my twitter app (twicca) and I want to share a tweet and select e-mail, it sticks. I want the options to use different apps for sharing, perhaps e-mail one time, then via SMS, etc.. I was hoping this would do it, but I don't seem to be able to get this to work. It seems to be geared toward file types.
Must have on Samsung Samsung is forcing your first choice to become the default. This app gives you back much of the functionality that they stole. I hope to see ongoing updates to address additional file types as this is now a required core app for any Samsung user.
App is AWESOME! My Galaxy S6 would automatically pick the 1st App I chose as my default App. But now, with Better Open With, the choice is once again mine to switch apps as I see fit. I love it. Thank you for fixing this huge aggression.
Very good app FOA, thank you for this great app for us marshmallow users, it's god send almost. Google does adopt lots of silly people. One suggestion, maybe use a border highlight on the default app rather then the current one. It may look better.
Just installed marshmallow on S5, so this was good timing. However, is it possible to force this app to show up the first time choosing SHARE in an app? In IMDB, the SHARE option allows only a default app, which means I can only use an email, text or other app each time I want to share. UPDATE: It appears this may be a bug in the the IMDB app
Awesome! As Android becomes more like ios we have take a few steps back. This app helps me because it does what 5.1 used to but better. I don't understand why Google is messing up things that don't need to be changed. This is why I will always love Android because of great developers like this who create apps that are needed. Thanks
Show app selection popup at the bottom of the screen.
Fix dark theme background color.
