AdBlock Podcast lets you skip ads in all iTunes podcasts, and charges a small monthly fee to support creators and ensure they don't lose out on ad-revenue. This is an experimental side project and there are no guarantees that it will work on all podcasts, but it does a pretty good job on most of them.

I love this concept for a podcast app that removes ads while still supporting creators! It's such a great idea, sadly, it just doesn't work on the podcasts I listen to. One podcast showed "no ads detected" on several episodes but there were several. Another podcast showed 5 ads detected, but it missed several ads, only really skipping one segment but also skipped past some non-ad content. Besides that. It lacks some features that I'd like out of a podcasting app

best app ever!!! this is the only way I listen to podcasts because the ads are insane nowadays so many ads are embedded in podcasts, screw them I say! they try to be clever about spamming each podcast with ads, here I go being smarter skipping it all

Keeps saying ad detection failed on smaller podcasts. I do see it saying it will work on bigger podcasts like connan
